Men's Soccer Hosts The Hilbert Hawks

Wells College men's soccer was back on the turd Tuesday afternoon when they hosted the Hilbert College Hawks. This was another opportunity for the Express to grab their first conference win of the season.

Early in this one, the Hawks took a small lead off a penalty kick. They later scored a second goal on a breakaway scoring opportunity. The Express had some opportunities in the first half that came off of free kicks and corner kicks but were not able to capitalize. The Wells College defense kept the Hawks at bay for the rest of the first half and were behind 0-2 at halftime. In the second half, the Express came out and had a quick opportunity off the foot of John Castaneda but it was turned away by the Hilbert keeper. Throughout the remainder of the second half, Wells had only a handful of shots that were on target and none of them found the back of the net. The Hawks scored a late goal to win this match-up by a score of 3-0. 

Men's Soccer will host Carlow here this Saturday!
