Men's and Women's Swimming Teams Compete At Oswego
The Wells College women's and men's swimming teams fell at Oswego State on Saturday, Oct. 29 at the Laker Hall Pool. The men's score was 132-50 and the women's score was 132-47.
Ian Ronan placed second in both the 200-yard breaststroke (2:41.38) and the 200-yard individual medley (2:32.99).
Austin Heil recorded second-place finishes in the 200-yard freestyle and 500-yard freestyle. Tyler Lewis was second in the 50-yard freestyle in 28.49 seconds.
Courtney Cloutier was second in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:30.22.
Shannon Simmons was second in the 200-yard freestyle and 200-yard backstroke.
Simmons, Gina Ross-Detro, Cloutier, and Emily Cooper were second in the 200-yard medley relay in 2:14.69.
Wells hosts its first home meet of the season Saturday, Nov. 5 at 1 p.m. against Utica College at the Schwartz Center.
