Alfred State Scores Victory In Pool Over Wells Men's Swimming

The Wells College men's swimming team hosted Alfred State College and fell by a score of 94-26 on Saturday, Nov. 19 at the Schwartz Center in Aurora, N.Y.

Austin Heil earned an event win for the Express with a time of 24.50 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle. He added second-place finishes in the 200 free (2:04.40) and 100 free (55.00 seconds).

Additional second-place finishes came from Brandon Sprague in the 1,000-yard freestyle, and Ian Ronan in the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke.

Wells returns to action at home Saturday, Dec. 3 against North Eastern Athletic Conference opponents Gallaudet University and SUNY Cobleskill.
