Women's Volleyball Hosts Penn State Behrend

Wells College women's volleyball was back home on Tuesday and hosted the number one team in the conference, Penn State Behrend.

In the first set, the Express were plagued with reception errors in the first set allowing Behrend to win it, 25-17. In the second set, the Express played their guests to a 15-15 tie halfway through. For the remainder of the set, neither team was able to grab more than a two-score lead until an attack error and reception error from the Express let Behrend take a 25-21 win in the second set. In the third, despite the best effort of the Express, they could not find their way back from a  2-0 deficit. Marta Corrall Cajigas had multiple blocks in the third set alone, but Behrend still won, 25-21.

Up next, Wells will host a tri-match this weekend with Alfred U and Penn State Altoona.
