Wells Express Athletes of The Week 10/11

Congratulations to this week Wells Express Athletes of The Week Brady Roberts and Miah Williamson!

            Wells MH Miah Williamson helped lead the Express to two big road conference wins this week. Against Hilbert, she had 10 kills on a .450%, and against Carlow, she had 14 kills on a .400%. She also had three service aces against Hilbert and two against Carlow. On the week, Williamson averaged 3.43 kills per set with a .420 hitting percentage while adding seven blocks and seven digs. Williamson leads the Express in kills per set (2.82), total kills (189), hitting percentage (.322), and blocks per set (.75) this season. She is currently second in the conference in hitting percentage and fifth in aces per set. She has played a huge role in helping the Express find their way to being tied for first in the conference. Miah was nominated this week by her head coach Mark Lucas. She is in her senior season at Wells College and comes to us from Elk Grove, California.

            Brady Roberts was selected this week based on his performance at the AMCC Championships for men's golf. Brady shot the lowest score from either day for the Wells College men's golf team at the tournament with an 88 on day 1. On the season, Brady consistently improved lowering his score with each tournament played. He was nominated this week by his head coach Ryan Stevens. Brady is in his first season with the Express and comes to us from Saranac Lake, New York.
