Chen Named NEAC Male Swimmer of the Week

For the second time in as many weeks, Wells College freshman Vincent Chen was named male swimmer of the week by the North Eastern Athletic Conference.

Chen broke the Wells College 100-yard IM record with a 1:02.17 time in a tri-meet against Roberts Wesleyan and host SUNY Cobleskill last weekend.

He took another first place in the 100-yard backstroke and third place in the 100-yard butterfly. In addition, he was part of Wells College's 200-yard medley relay team that finished first that helped the men's swimming team to a split with a victory over the Redhawks.
