The Wells College women's soccer team played its final non-conference game of the season and lost by a 7-0 score to visiting St. John Fisher College on Thursday, Oct. 12 at the Wells Turf Field. The final six games of the regular season for Wells are against North Eastern Athletic Conference opponents beginning with a match at SUNY Cobleskill this Saturday, Oct. 14 at 3 p.m.
St. John Fisher scored twice in the first half and added five more goals in the second half.
Wells goalkeeper Quinn Doubet made 12 saves. Four different Wells players recorded shots and 15 total players appeared in the match for the Express.
Wells is 2-9-0 overall and St. John Fisher improved to 4-9-1 on the season.
