'On This Day' Four Seniors Honored in 2017 Home Finale

Wells College honors past and present seniors this week by spotlighting current fall student-athletes and looking back on past Senior Days.

The Wells College women's volleyball team finished its NEAC regular season with a sweep on Senior Day on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017, at the Schwartz Center. Wells defeated North Eastern Athletic Conference opponent Bryn Athyn College 3-0 to finish the regular season with an 8-1 record against NEAC opponents.

Prior to the matches, Wells honored its four-member senior class that includes Olyvia Brazier, Annabelle Lee, Anuhea Leite-Ah Yo, and Eliza Schwab.

The Express won the NEAC North Division with a perfect 6-0 mark against North Division opposition. Wells will host a NEAC quarterfinal playoff match Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017, against SUNY Poly at the Schwartz Center.

Set scores against Bryn Athyn were 25-6, 25-12, 25-11. Olyvia Brazier led Wells with 15 kills.

Eliza Schwab had 30 assists, served three aces, and added one solo block and two block assists.

Anuhea Leite-Ah Yo had 13 digs and Annabelle Lee added 12 digs. Leite-Ah Yo and Brazier each served two aces.
