Field Hockey Drops Second Game In a Row

Wells College field hockey played their second game of the weekend on Sunday, this time at Wilkes University.

This was the second game in as many days for the Express after taking on Marywood University on Saturday.

The Express defense stepped up in the first quarter and held Wilkes to just one goal. In the second quarter, however, Wilkes had an offensive explosion and took a 5-0 lead into halftime. Wells College came out with some new energy in the second half holding Wilkes to just two goals. On the offensive side, Morgan Brown was the only player for Wells to register a shot. In goal, Sadie Combs came up with 11 total saves.

Wells fell on the road by a score of 7-0.

Field hockey will be back in action at The College at Brockport this Friday.
