Wells College field hockey hit the road Tuesday afternoon to take on the Mustangs of SUNY Morrisville for their second conference match-up of the season.
The Mustangs scored in the first minute of action but the Wells College defense kept Morrisville at bay for the rest of the quarter. SUNY Morrisville went on to score one goal in the second quarter and one goal in the third quarter and carried a 3-0 lead over the Express into the final quarter of play. Sadie Combs came up with 12 saves in this contest for Wells College. Despite Wells's best effort, the Mustangs pushed across two more goals in the fourth and won this conference game, 5-0.
Up next, Field Hockey will head to Thomas this Saturday for more NAC play.
