Women's Soccer Announces Indoor Soccer Tournament Fundraiser

AURORA, N.Y. - The Wells College women's soccer team will host an Indoor Soccer Tournament on Sunday, Mar. 23 at 12:30 p.m. within the Schwartz Athletic Center. The tournament, held on an annual basis, is open to all Wells College students, faculty and staff. Community members and guests are invited to participate, but must sign a waiver before participating. Proceeds will benefit the Wells College women's soccer team as they begin their 35th varsity season in Aurora this fall.

Five person teams will participate in a minimum of two games within the Small Gym and the Frances Tarlton Farenthold Athletic Wing. No more than three Wells College men's and women's soccer players may participate on one team and each team must possess two women. Teams are eliminated after two losses and prizes and a trophy will be awarded to the winning team following the tournament.

All team names and members are due on Saturday, Mar. 22. The cost to participate is $5.00 per player. To register, please contact Shannon Blanford (sblanford@wells.edu) and Lindsey Bush (lbush@wells.edu) of the women's soccer team at Wells.
