Women's Soccer Falls At Morrisville State College

The Wells College women's soccer team finished its season with a 3-0 loss at Morrisville State College on Saturday, Oct. 29. Morrisville scored all three of its goals in the first half and held off the Wells comeback effort. Wells finished its season with a 9-7-1 overall record, and 6-6-1 record in the North Eastern Athletic Conference, finishing in eighth place. Morrisville is 7-8-1 overall and 6-7-0 in the NEAC.

Emma Booth and Ciara Tallman had three shots each to lead Wells. Karlie Maloney started in goal and made four saves. Quinn Doubet played the last 62 minutes and had five saves in goal.

With a 9-7-1 record, it was the winningest season for Wells since the 2002 season when the Express had a 10-8-0 overall record, and the first winning season in that stretch. Under the three-year coaching tenure of Mara Primmer, Wells has increased its win total from five, to seven, to nine.
