Women's Soccer Falls At Abington

On Saturday, Wells College women's soccer traveled to Penn St Abington for another conference match-up. Abington would win this one 5-1.

The Express came out in this one and grabbed an early lead in the 8th minute of play when Lydia Thomas scored an unassisted goal. In the 14th minute, Abingtong would tie it up off the foot of Amanda Armstrong. Penn St Abington would score 3 more times before halftime and carried a 4-1 lead into the half against the Express. Lydia Thomas would relieve Jade Bouvier in goal after Jade stopped 8 shots from the Nittany Lions. Thomas came up with two saves her self. On offense, the Express would only take one more shot after Lydia Thomas's goal. 

Women's Soccer will be back in action Wednesday when they host SUNY Morrisville.
