On Saturday the Wells College women's soccer team continued their conference schedule and traveled to Lancaster Bible College. The Chargers would take down the Express by a score of 6-0.
The Express defense held strong for the first 30 minutes of the game. There was a big help in goal from Lydia Thomas who got her first start in goal and recorded 17 saves on the day. In the 31st minute, the Chargers would finally score, and this lead to a quick follow-up goal in the 37th minute. One more goal right before the half helped the Chargers secure a 3-0 lead into halftime. The Second half looked similar with the Express struggling to produce offensively. For the game, the Express would tally 1 shot on goal and be outshot 23-1.
Women's soccer will be back in action Wednesday at Medaille College.
