Women's Volleyball Secures a Road Conference Win

Wells College women's volleyball continued conference play on Thursday night when they hit the road for The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.

After dropping the first set, the Express had to battle to take the second set from their host. Kills from Alycia Wilson and Miah Williamson helped the Express tied up this match one set a piece after two. After splitting the next two sets, these teams were headed for a fifth set. After switching sides, Wells opened up a 10-6 lead. Bradford then battled back to tie the fifth set up at 10 a piece forcing a time-out from Wells. Sarina Soto snuck in a point for the Express to tie it up at 11. That was followed by a kill from Alycia Wilson to tie it at 12. An attack error from Pitt gave Wells a 13-12 lead and forced their host to take a timeout. Soto came through again for Wells to put them ahead 14-12. Bradford battled back to tie it up at 14 and Miah Williamson sent home a kill to give the Express a 15-14 lead. Then once again Miah Williamson sent home a game-winning kill to give the Express another big conference win.

Up next, Wells will head to a tri-match at La Roche this Saturday.
