Women's volleyball wraps up season with two road loses.

Wells College women's volleyball traveled to Penn State Berks Saturday for a conference tri-match to wrap up their season. The Express would fall in 3 straight sets to Gallaudet and Penn State Berks. 

Gallaudet was up first for the Express. The Bison are second in the conference and already clinched a playoff spot in the United East. The Express kept it tight in the first set and the score was tied at 10-10. From that point on the Bison would go on a 15-7 run to close out the first set. In the second, it was once again a close match-up but this time it stayed that way all the way through. Consecutive serves from Leah Gregory even gave the Express a 20-19 lead and forced a Gallaudet timeout. The Bison would come out o the timeout re-energized and put the Express away 25-23 (2-0). In the third set, no matter what the Express did they could not gain any traction. They scored consecutive points only 3 times in the set and ultimately fell to the Bison 25-14 (3-0).

Up next was the host, Penn State Berks. The Express grabbed a small early lead of 2-1 but never lead again for the remainder of the set. Caroline Barr, Miah Williamson, and Brianah Dawson would all tally a kill in this set but it was enough and Berks won 25-17 (1-0). The Express would never have a lead in the second set. They would grab some points from errors by Penn State BErks as well as from serves from Lexi Carfi. But Berks would end this set on a 5-0 run and win 25-16 (2-0). The third set is where the Express began to catch a second wind. Miah Williamson and Morgan Adams helped the Express build a 7-3 lead over their host. However, this is where it looked as if fatigue began to set in. Berks would rally back and take a 17-13 lead for themselves. the Express would only muster 2 more points and fall in three straight sets, 25-15 (3-0). 

That wraps up the season for the Express who finished 13-13 overall and 2-6 in the conference.
