Wells Express Athletes Of The Week 5/4

Congratulations to our final athletes of the week for the 2022-23 season, Miah Williamson and Max Odum!

Miah and Max were selected because they were named the Student-Athletes of the Year last week at our annual awards ceremony!

Miah is a junior on the women's volleyball team from Elk Grove California and this season was named to first-team all-conference in the United East. She was also named to the United East all sportsmanship team. Miah broke 4 wells records this season in women's volleyball. Most points in a match (32.5, highest attack percentage in a season (.375), most service aces in a season (75), and most points in a season (500). This season Miah led the United East conference in hitting % while being second in points, kills, and service aces.

Max is a junior on the baseball team from Elmira, NY. This season Max Joined the 100-hit club with only 5 other Wells College baseball players. For the season, Mas is hitting .339 with a .400 on-base percentage and .493 slugging percentage. Max is all time Wells leader in stolen bases with 50 and counting. He currently has 127 hits which ranks him second all-time for Wells College, and he is second all-time in assists with 204.
