Freshman Spotlight : Morgan Gingras

The Wells College athletics department closes out the 2020 calendar year with a series of first-year freshmen athlete profiles. Today's feature is women's soccer defender Morgan Gingras.

Morgan Gingras is a freshman on the Wells College women's soccer team. The Barre, Mass. health science major is one of six new players for head coach Patrick Arancio.

Morgan helped the Guardians to the soccer postseason her senior year after participating in the program for three seasons at St. Peter-Marian in Worcester, Mass.

Academically, Morgan was a member of the National Honor Society at St. Peter-Marian and plans to enter the veterinarian field after graduation from Wells.

What stands out from her first season at Wells was the camaraderie within the Wells soccer program, as well as the welcoming she received from the veteran players.
