Wells College Places 59 on 2020-2021 NEAC Scholar-Athlete List

LATHAM, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) is proud to announce its near 650 scholar-athlete selections from eight full-member institutions and five associate member schools for the 2020-21 academic year.

With 49 student-athletes comprising the average number per-school, Wells placed 59 on this year's list.

The annual list of honorees continues to illustrate the remarkable geographic diversity of the league and its member institutions with NEAC Scholar-Athletes representing 30 different states and six different countries in all. Representatives from Wells College spanned as far west as California, as far south as Texas and Florida, and as far north as Maine with more than 30 percent coming of the Wells recipients from states outside of New York.

In order to be selected, a student-athlete competing in a conference-sponsored sport must achieve a combined grade point average of 3.4 or higher for the fall and spring semesters and must have been in good standing on his or her team.
