The Wells College women's soccer team opened its 2021 season by hosting visiting Hartwick College on Wednesday, Sept. 1.
It was the debut of new Wells head women's soccer coach Patrick Arancio on the Wells Turf Field after the team last played in 2019.
Leading the way for Wells was Jennifer McCumber, who picked up where she left off a couple of seasons ago. McCumber finished with 19 saves. Back in 2019, McCumber was just five saves short of 200 on the season with an average of 14 per-game.
The Express next host SUNY ESF on Saturday, Sept 4 with a 1 p.m. start.
