The Wells College women's soccer team traveled to SUNY Poly on Tuesday, Oct. 5 in a non-conference match.
The Express entered the second half with the teams in a scoreless tie after Wells goalkeeper Jennifer McCumber registered 14 saves during the opening 45 minutes.
The Wildcats took a 1-0 lead in the second and the game stayed that way until Poly got three more in the final 16:05 for a 4-0 final.
McCumber finished the contest with 20 saves on the night and improved her D-III nation-leading save total to 124 on the season.
The women's soccer team next returns to conference play with a road game at Penn State Harrisburg on Saturday, Oct.9 with a 2 p.m. start.
