The Wells College women's soccer team hosted Lancaster Bible College on Saturday, Oct. 16 in the first United East Conference matchup between the two teams.
Wells held Lancaster scoreless until late into the 35th minute, before the Chargers finished with a pair of goals in each half to take the contest.
Wells goalkeeper Jennifer McCumber finished the game with eight saves on the day and improved her D-III nation-leading save total to 143 on the season.
The women's soccer team next continues conference play when it travels to SUNY Morrisville on Tuesday, Oct. 19, with an 8:30 p.m. start.
