Women's Volleyball All-Decade Team

The Wells College 2020 All-Decade Team in women's volleyball comprises student-athletes that participated during the fall seasons between 2010-19. The team consists of 10 selections with its composition spanning all positions and with all multiple all-conference selections receiving automatic placement.*

The 2020 All-Decade team includes (alphabetically): Jackie Allen (2016-19), Rachel Anderson (2017-19), Zakarra Butts (2012-15), Taryn Heath (2012-14), Meredith Kadjeski (2013-16), Anuhea Leite-Ah Yo (2014-17), Nicole Loeven (2012-15), Vashti Nettles (2015-15), Eliza Schwab (2014-17) and Amanda Springer (2015-18).

Three selections from the women's volleyball all-decade team were also Wells College female athletes of the year and include Allen, Nettles and Leite-Ah Yo. Allen was is a three-time all-NEAC selection who holds the honor as the only triple-digit career holder in three major categories with 1,231 kills, 1,158 digs and 1,425 points, while scoring 149 service aces. Nettles took the top female honor during the 2014-15 year and was a two-time all-NEAC selection and team MVP, who recorded 678 kills, 111 total blocks and 794 points over two seasons. Leite-Ah Yo was the top female athlete during the 2017-18 year and is the only player to net two NEAC awards as its rookie of the year and defensive player of the year. She is also the only four-time all-NEAC selection and finished with 1,493 digs, 152 service aces, 811 kills and 989.5 points.

Three other selections specialized in assists and/or digs and include Heath, Loeven and Schwab. Heath led the team in assists for multiple seasons when the program resumed in 2012 and finished with 1,687 assists, 464 digs and 74 service aces over three seasons. She finished in the conference's top-10 four times in assist-related categories. Loeven was a multi-year team captain who finished in team's top-three in digs, assists and aces during the team's first two seasons after the resumption of the program. Schwab was an all-NEAC selection who finished in the conference's top-10 a half-dozen times in assists-related categories and finished with 3,164 assists, 900 digs, 154 service aces and 145 total blocks.

The remaining four selections were comprised of outside and middle hitters and include Anderson, Butts, Kadjeski and Springer. Anderson is a two-time all-NEAC selection and one of two players to receive a major NEAC award as its rookie of the year. Only Allen (13) has appeared in more conference top-10 rankings than Anderson, who has a dozen over her three seasons that range in categories that include kills, hitting percentage, blocks and points. Butts was a conference top-10 contributor in the categories of service aces and hitting percentage and was awarded the team's rookie and most valuable awards in separate seasons. Kadjeski earned three all-NEAC selections and finished in the conference's top-10 seven times in categories of kills, points and service aces while accumulating 1,297 points, 1,028 kills, 162 total blocks and 159 service aces. Springer also finished in the conference's top-10 seven times in hitting percentage and block categories while receiving one all-NEAC selection. As a middle hitter, she recorded 273 total blocks.

*Criteria for individual selections and team composition varies upon available information that may include, but is not limited to, input from coaches, conference distinctions and supporting statistics when available. The women's volleyball team began competing in 2012 during this past decade, after last competing about 35 years prior. Conference top-10 categories implemented included kills, hitting percentage, digs, service aces, blocks and points.
