
Baseball Drops Game Three To Harrisburg
Wells College baseball continued their three-game series with Penn State Harrisburg Saturday afternoon.
They fell in both games against Penn State Harrisburg yesterday both by a score of 7-2 and the second game was cut short due to inclement weather.
After falling behind 2-0 in the top of the first, Bradley Mills walked with the bases loaded in the bottom of the first to cut the lead to 3-1. In the bottom of the second, Zack Odum hit a SAC fly to center field that scored Chris McLean tying the game up at 2. Aaron Izquierdo and Jacobi James both followed that up with run-scoring singles to give the Express a 4-3 lead. After a homer gave Harrisburg the lead, 6-4, in the top of the third, Mark Maybee walked with the bases loaded in the bottom of the third. Then, Zack Odum hit a SAC fly that scored Joe Horne. This game, however, much like last night, ended early due to inclement weather and the Express fell in game three by a score of 16-6.
Baseball will hit the road Wednesday for a single game a Hobart.
