Men’s Soccer Team Rebounds with Strong Second Half

The Wells College men's soccer team began its first game of the 2021 season on the road at Nazareth College.

After falling behind six minutes into the contest, Shane Syms needed just 29 seconds to tie the game at 1-1. Nazareth finished the first half with three more tallies and took a 4-1 score into the break.

Wells goaltender Colton Jaquith recorded 10 of his 19 saves in the second half that saw the Express respond with a strong second half that was decided by one goal.

The Express next host SUNY ESF on Saturday, Sept. 4 at 3 p.m.
