Men's Soccer Team Seniors Honored in Home Conference Match

The Wells College men's soccer team hosted Lancaster Bible College on Saturday, Oct. 16 in the first of four conference games to round out the regular season.

Just a single goal separated the teams in each half with the Express finishing on the wrong side of both.

Wells Goalkeeper Colton Jaquith recorded seven saves on the day to leave him with 130 for the season. The senior keeper continues to lead all D-III goalkeepers nationally in saves, while adding to a career season high.

Justin Butler led the Express' offensive attack with a pair of shots.

Both Jaquith and Butler were honored with three other teammates prior to the game on Senior Day. Joining the pair were Quinten Battle, Shane Syms and Jimmy Stover, with the latter two along with Butler and Jaquith contributing to the program for four years.

The men's soccer team next travels to SUNY Morrisville on Tuesday, Oct. 19 with a 6:30 p.m. start.
