Men’s Soccer Team Continues Conference Play

Just one day after the Wells College men's soccer team hosted a thrilling overtime conference opener, the Express hosted an undefeated St. Mary's team from Maryland on Sunday, Sept. 19.

The Seahawks, who are the newest team to the conference, scored four goals in each half to take the game in Wells' second conference game this season for the newly-formed United East.

The Express recorded 17 saves during the contest with the most coming from Wells goalkeeper Colton Jaquith, who finished with 11. It was Jacquith's fourth game this season with double-digit saves and today's total put the senior over 70 on the season.

Zaki Javed recorded a pair of defensive saves with single defensive saves coming from Ryan Nugent, Roman Martinez, Justin Butler and Nathan Soliman.

The men's soccer team next hosts Alfred State on Thursday, Sept. 23 with a 6 p.m. start.
