Men's Soccer Falls At Home To SUNY Canton

On Saturday night, Wells College men's soccer hosted SUNY Canton. SUNY Canton would take this one by a score of 4-0 thanks to 2 goals from Agustin Nunez.

The Express and SUNY Canton came into this game with a 0-3 record ad both teams were ready to battle for their first win. Most of the first half was a defensive fight. The Express and the Roo's would go back and forth exchanging fouls, slide tackles, and free kicks with neither team really being able to grab an advantage over the other. It took until the 29th minute for the Roo's to score the first goal of the game off the foot of Brenner Harmer. Agustin Nunez would follow their goal up with 2 more before halftime and SUNY Canton would carry a 3-0 lead into the half. In the second half, the Express came out with more energy but still struggled on the offensive end to produce shots only mustering 12 shots total to SUNY Cantons 33. One Late goal by Joey Johnston of SUNY Canton would secure this road win for the Roo's. Sean Nemeth would grab 17 more saves for the Express in this one.

Men's soccer will take the field once again Tuesday vs Keuka College.
