On Tuesday night, Wells College men's soccer hosted Keuka College for a non-conference match-up. Keuka would take down the Express 4-0 thanks to 3 goals from Owen Thorpe.
The Wells Express and Keuka College were both looking to secure their first win tonight after an afternoon rain storm. Keuka College struck first less than 15 minutes into the game from Owen Thorpe. Thorpe would go on to score 2 more of the next 3 Keuka goals as well. This was the final game before conference competition started for the Express so Coach McIntyre was switching in and out lineups to keep things fresh. Some bright spots were Ryan Nugent on defense making terrific stops. Also, John Casteneda and Carlos Murallers demonstrated consistent effort for every minute they were on the field. Keuka would secure the road win, 4-0.
