Aurora, N.Y.-  The Wells College softball team went to Morrisville State for their 2nd doubleheader in a 2 game series.  In game one, Lorelei Meier held the spotlight shutting down Morrisville with a record setting fifteen strikeouts to earn the win for the Express.  Catcher Kelly Cornwell called an amazing game behind the plate.  The Express offense exploded with six hits putting up five runs in their 5-2 win in game one.

In game two, Morrisville would not be shut down and an offensive battle would begin.  Wells would be the first on the board but Morrisville would put up runs the next five innings to stretch their lead.  In inning five and six, the Wells offense would strike back with three runs in each.  Alyssa Acquaviva would lead the offense scoring two runs on three hits with four RBI's.  Morrisville would go on in the seventh to win the game with a score of Morrisville 9 and Wells 8.
