Wells College Field Hockey traveled to Houghton College on Tuesday night. Houghton would take care of the Express 8-0 with balanced scoring within the team.
The Highlanders would build a lead in just the first quarter when Bently, Beck, and Cross would all score for Houghton. Two more goals would come in the second quarter for Houghton as they took a 5-0 lead into halftime. Wells College would have a tough time producing anything on the offensive end. The only shot of the day would come off the stick of first-year student Morgan Brown. Eve Kowalczyk would rack up 11 more saves but it wasn't enough to stop Houghton from securing the home win 8-0.
