On Thursday afternoon the Wells College field hockey team traveled to Sage College for their second to last game of the season. The Gators would secure the win by a score of 6-0.
Four minutes into the game the Gators started the scoring taking a 1-0 lead. Another four minutes later Sage would score again and that 2-0 lead would hold until halftime. The Express created 5 shots on goal on offense but they were all stopped by the Gator goalie. By comparison, the Gators created 22 total shots on goal. The fourth quarter was where the Sage offense took off scoring 3 more goals and finalizing the score at 6-0.
Field Hockey will host its season finale this Saturday at 1 pm vs SUNY Morrisville
