Wells College field hockey hosted the SUNY Brockport Golden Eagles on Tuesday afternoon. Brockport would win this one 7-1.
The Golden Eagles would open up the scoring in the second minute of play grabbing a 1-0 lead. It would be all Brockport until the second period when Lauren Spiegel would bury a penalty stroke to cut the Brockport lead to 3-1. The penalty stroke was one of the few scoring opportunities the Express had but Eve Kowalczyk came up with 13 saves in goal.
Field Hockey will be back in action Thursday at Sage College.
