Bio

Cody Hoose joined the Wells College men's lacrosse team as an Assistant Coach prior to the 2016 season.

A 2015 graduate of Oswego State University with a bachelor's degree in Technology Management and a minor in Business Administration, Hoose recently wrapped up a four-year career with the Lakers, appearing in 55 career contests while scoring 63 career goals and 95 assists for 158 total points (63-95=158). He graduated ranked second all-time in assists and finished with the eighth-most points in team history. Additionally, Hoose chipped in with 90 ground balls while causing 11 opposing turnovers.

A two-year captain with the Lakers, Hoose also finished fourth in the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) with 29 assists as a senior, setting a career-high mark at the same time. A two-time Offensive Player of the Year recipient at Oswego State, he finished his sophomore season as the team's point leader with 48 points via 22 goals and 26 assists (22-26=48). As a freshman, he impressively led his team with 20 goals and 29 assists for 49 total points of offense (20-29=49).

An active participant with the Oswego State chapter of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, Hoose also coaches youth lacrosse in the Town of Camillus and has conducted youth summer camps for basketball. Academically, Hoose earned Dean's List and other achievement awards for his work in the classroom.

Hoose is a 2011 graduate of West Genesee High School and resides in Syracuse, N.Y.
