SUNY Canton Outguns Wells Men's Lacrosse

The Wells College men's lacrosse team played its first road game of the season and fell to SUNY Canton by a 17-5 score on Tuesday, March 13.

The host Roos got off to a fast start with four goals in the first five minutes of the opening quarter before Wells answered with a pair of goals from Aaron Heisey. The second was a man-up goal assisted by Trevor Stein.

Tanner Mingen scored in the third quarter and Ian Domon added a third-quarter goal. Carson Combs scored the final goal of the game for the Express.

David Cleary had two caused turnovers for the Express. Trevor Stein and Tanner Mingen each had six ground balls. Zack Simone made 12 saves. Wells was 2-for-6 in extra-man opportunities.

Wells is 2-2 on the year and returns to action Saturday, March 24 at home against Wilkes.
