(Chambersburg, Pa.)─ Wilson College hosted a semi-final match up of the Independent Championship between No. 3 seed, Wells College (Aurora, NY) and No. 2 seed, St. Vincent College (Latrobe, PA). St.Vincent got on the board 9 minutes and 47 seconds into the game, with a goal from Sam Larkin (Elkridge, MD/Mount DeSales). Kayla Howard(McMurray, PA/Peters Township) earned the assist.
Wells pressured the Bearcats throughout the game and held a 8-7 advantage in shots and a 12-7 advantage in penalty corners. Goalkeeper, Madeline Bass(Lemon Grove, CA/Helix) tallied 3 saves for the Express and Bridget Harner (Crofton, MD/Arch Bishop Spalding) earned the shutout for the Bearcats without touching the ball.
Wells players Sade Valencia Chavez, Kweita Holmes, and Shelby Moszkowicz were all named to the All-Tournament Team.
