Maish Named to NEAC Softball’s All-Conference Team

LATHAM, N.Y. - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) announced its 2021 Softball All-Conference Teams with Wells College's Olivia Maish (Palmdale, Calif.) having been named to the second team.

Maish led the Express in six team categories. The sophomore was first in hits with 20, first in batting average with a .444, first in runs with 10, first in on-base percentage with .479, and first in slugging percentage with .556.

In the field, Maish finished third on the team in putouts with 33 with a .927 fielding percentage and started a half-dozen games for Wells from the circle.

All-Conference is composed of two teams, with 11 players regardless of position making up each team.

The conference has awarded Susan Duncan (Penn State Berks) as its player of the year, Briana Smith (Penn State Berks) as its pitcher of the year, Steph Reider (Penn State Harrisburg) as its rookie of the year and Donna Ference (Penn State Berks) as coach of the year.
