The Wells College women's volleyball team had its two-match win streak halted by SUNY Oswego on Wednesday, Oct. 6.
The visiting Lakers took the first three sets by 25-14, 25-21 and 25-15 scores and were the first team to defeat Wells on its home court this season.
Wells' Lexi Carfi had team highs in kills with six and aces with two. Sasha Lamoree added 15 assists, while Roosa Armstead-Lehti registered 18 digs. Makenzie Drown added a pair of blocks.
The women's volleyball team next begins conference play Saturday, Oct.9 against visiting Penn State Berks and Penn State Harrisburg.
