The Wells College field hockey team traveled to SUNY Oswego for an evening contest on Saturday, Sept. 4.
For the second-consecutive game, Wells' top player was goalkeeper Samya Anderson-Victor. The first-year netminder had nearly 60 shot attempts thrown her way during the contest.
Anderson-Victor had a quarter-high dozen saves in the first and finished the game with a total of 31 saves from 43 Laker shots on goal.
Combining her save total from the team's season opener, Anderson-Victor now has 50 saves on the season.
Offensively, the Express' best scoring opportunity came from Grace Kahl.
The Express next host Centenary University on Saturday, Sept 11 with an 11 a.m. start.
