The Wells College field hockey team traveled to SUNY Morrisville on Wednesday, Sept. 29 for its first game action in nearly two weeks.
The Express had its best quarter in the third when one goal separated the two teams. Morrisville outscored Wells by three in the second half after getting a pair in the fourth.
In the first half, the Mustangs scored three in each quarter.
Wells goalie Samya Anderson-Victor recorded eight saves on the night.
Clara Lima led the attack for the Express with three shots, while Grace Kahl and Lauren Spiegel each registered a pair of shots each.
Wells begins a four game homestand next beginning with a contest with visiting Keuka College on Thursday, Oct. 7 at 7 p.m.
