Field Hockey Team Wraps Up Three-Game Homestand

The Wells College field hockey team wrapped up one of its toughest segments of the season when they hosted Houghton College to complete three games in four days on Tuesday, Sept. 14.

The bright spot for the Express came late in the contest when Clara Lima scored for Wells. With points from other contests, the goal gave her a share of the team scoring lead with Lauren Spiegel.

Express goalkeeper Samya Anderson-Victor recorded eight saves in the contest and had 44 over the last three games – all played at home - during the past four days.

Wells completes the toughest part of its schedule on Thursday, Sept. 16, when the team travels to Keystone College to complete a four-game segment in six days.
