Wells Dominates SUNY Poly at HOme

Wells College women's volleyball hosted SUNY Poly on Friday night. The Express downed the Wildcats in three straight sets 3-0.

Earlier this season, the Express had visited SUNY Poly and defeated them on the Wildcat's home court 3-0. Wells College was hoping for more of the same tonight.  In the first set, Poly leads 1-0 but never leads again. Although the Express never lead by more than 5, they put away the Wildcats 25-23. Once again SUNY Poly would jump out to a 1-0 lead but then the Express would build a lead of as much as 14 before the end of the set. Miah Williamson and Lexi Carfi would go on long service streaks to help the Express win the second set 25-11. In the final set, Caroline Barr and Roosa Armstead-Lehti would lead the way with serves to help the Express battle back from being down 3 points and put the Wildcats away for good 25-19 (3-0).

Women's Volleyball will be back in action tomorrow at Utica University.
