Miah Williamson selected to first-team all-conference
Congratulations to Miah Williamson on being named first-team all-conference in the United East for women's volleyball!
Miah transferred to Wells College this season from Consumnes River College in California. She finished the regular season as the leader in Hitting % in the United East (.375), second in kills per set (3.96), and second in service aces (75).
Her hitting percentage is good enough to put her in the top 25 in the nation for division 3 in hitting percentage. With 75 aces and .78 aces per set, Miah is 20th in the country. Finally, Miah is also 21st in the nation in kills per set.
"Miah is an amazing player. Her skill and work ethic is matched by how good a teammate she is. My only regret is that she does not have a twin sister." Head Coach Mark Lucas.
Williamson is also tied for first with the most kills in a 5-set match in the Wells College record book with 29 kills against Keuka College. She is the lone record holder of points in a match with 32.5, coming in the same match against Keuka College.
