Strait Named NEAC Pitcher of the Week

Wells baseball senior Jared Strait (Lansing, N.Y.) was named the North Eastern Athletic Conference's Pitcher of the Week on April 26.

Strait added nine strikeouts to his conference-leading 52 last weekend in a 4-1 road victory against Penn State Berks in the matinee matchup on April 24.

Strait picked up his fourth win of the season after taking the mound for 8.0 innings, and allowing just six hits and a single earned run while facing 34 batters.

The Express baseball team has a pair of conference doubleheaders this Wednesday, April 28 against Penn State Abington and Thursday, April 29 against conference-leading Penn State Harrisburg.
