Baseball Rallies Against Visiting Wildcats

On Tuesday night the Express baseball team hosted the Cazenovia College Wildcats.
The Express was coming off a weekend series where they dropped 2 out of 3 to SUNY Poly and hoped to head off to Myrtle Beach on a high note.
Zack Cronk got the start for the Express, after giving up 1 run in the first the Express picked him up in the bottom of the first when Aaron Izquierdo singled sending Zack Odum home. Later in the inning, John Valinoti hit home, Max Odum, in his groundout to the pitcher, and just like that the Express had the lead 2-1.
Fast forward to the fourth inning, both offenses exploded. The visiting Wildcats posted 6 runs in the top of the inning giving them a 7-3 lead. However, in the bottom of the 4th, the Express posted 8 runs! Zack Odum, Max Odum, John Valinoti, Bradley Mills, Joe Horne, and Aaron Izquierdo all had RBIs in the inning, and going into the 5th inning the Express was back on top by a score of 11-7.
To start the 5th inning, Vincenzo Bova put two runners on for the Express. That brought in Luke Eitner who closed out the inning with no runs given up. Luke Either went on to have the FIRST EVER IMMACULATE INNING for the Express in the 6th Inning. This was the first time in school history a pitcher for Wells College struck out the side on 9 straight pitches. Either finished with a line of 5 innings, 0 hits, 0 runs, 0 walks, and 7 strikeouts.
The Express went on to post two more insurance runs and won the game by a score of 15-7.
