The Wells College baseball team hit the road this weekend to take on Penn State Berks.
This Express had fallen earlier in the week to top-ranked SUNY Brockport at home and looked to get back to their winning ways this weekend against Penn State Berks.
The First game was started by Luke Eitner of the Express. He pitched 5.2 innings for the Express. Bradly Mills had two RBIs in the first game by grounding out and reaching base on an error. Max Odum doubled in the 6th inning sending home Joe Horne and Juan Correa got two RBIs of his own. Unfortunately, the Express were plagued with walks and errors and fell in the first game 20-4.
Zach Cronk started the second game for Wells College and had a great outing. He pitched 5 innings allowing only 2 runs on 6 hits. On the offensive side, it was the run-scoring the Express had been looking for. take a look at some of the offensive stats below...
