Wells Express Athletes of The Week 3/9

Congratulations to this week's Athletes of the Week Serina Sheradin and Luke Eitner!

Serina was selected this week based on her performance last Friday in the season opener for the Wells Softball team. She went 2-4 at the plate with a double, RBI, stole a base, and scored the second run of the day. On the defensive side, she was a wall behind the plate and a leading presence for our defense helping many in their first collegiate softball game, as well as being a leader for the Express pitchers. Serina is a sophomore from Fayetteville, NY. She was nominated by her head coach Jess Galatioto and this is her first time winning Athlete of The Week!

Luke was selected based on his performance at home against the visiting Cazenovia College last week. Eitner threw the first-ever immaculate inning for the Express! He also secured the win throwing 5 innings of scoreless ball and striking out 7. Eitner comes to Wells College from North Lehigh, PA, and is in his junior year. Luke was nominated by his head coach Ryan Stevens. This is Luke's first time winning Athlete of The Week.
