Legaretta Named United East Player of The Week
Congratulations to Zac Legaretta on being named the Player of The Week by the United East Conference.
In 5 games last week, Legaretta hit.318 (7-22) with two doubles and 3 triples in 22 plate appearances. In the weekend series alone at Gallaudet University, Legaretta had 6 hits and drove in 7 runs.
"Zac was very strong for us at shortstop all weekend defensively at Gallaudet and came up clutch when we had runners in scoring position." Head Coach Ryan Stevens went on to explain how Legaretta was integral in the Express taking 2 out of 3 from the Bison this weekend.
Zac Legaretta is a Junior at Wells College from Visalia, CA.
Baseball will be back in action tomorrow when they host Clarks Sumit at 4 PM.
