Express Baseball Hosts Brockport

On Wednesday night the Wells College Baseball team hosted the SUNY Brockport Golden Eagles.
Currently, Brockport is ranked #1 in the entire country in D3 for ERA and WHIP. They also came into the game with a 20-4 record. the Express was going to have their hands full.
In the first inning, the Golden Eagles scored 3 runs on 3 hits to take a 3-0 lead early. The Express answered back in the bottom of the first when Max Odum singled, Zack Odum doubled and Luke Eiter drove in Max Odum for the first run of the game for the Express. Unfortunately, this would be the only time the Express crossed the plate in his one as the Brockport pitchers shut down the Express offense for the day. Austin Jordan came in and pitched a scoreless 9th inning with 2 strikeouts for Wells College. The Brockport bats were hot tallying 19 hits on the day helping the Golden Eagles secure an out-of-conference win by the score of 16-1.
