Wells Baseball Takes On Keuka

The Wells College baseball team hosted the Wolves of Keuka College Wednesday afternoon. 

Over the weekend the Express had lost two out of 3 games while visiting Penn State Berks. They looked to get back on the right bath before hosting Penn State Abington this weekend. 

Luke Eitner was the starting pitcher for the Express and he had himself a day. Eitner threw 8 innings giving up only 6 hits and zero runs. He also struck out 3 while not giving up a single walk. Jack Field came in for the 9th inning and held the Wolves scoreless as well while striking out one. Wells College also went the entire game on defense without an error! On the offensive side, Max Odum lead everyone going 4 for 4 with an RBI and a run scored. Joe Horne went 2 for 4 on the day with an RBI and a run as well. The Express took 7 walks and only struck out 5 times helping them push 5 runs across the plate. This was an all-around great home win for Wells College as they took down the Wolves 5-0.
